Que mejor que escribir mi primera entrada en este blog sobre la estación del año que más me gusta y disfruto. No solo por el cambio de clima, después de tantos meses de oscuridad y atardeceres tempranos, ver florecer a los árboles y ver a la naturaleza en su mayor esplendor, es inevitable no sentir la necesidad de renovar y refrescar todo lo que me rodea.
Es justo con la llegada de esta estación cuando empiezo a esconder en el rincón más profundo de mi closet los colores oscuros y prendas pesadas que me abrigaron durante tantos días de frío en el invierno. ¡Color! ¡color! y más ¡color !! es usualmente lo primero que pienso en agregar a mi closet, pero al parecer para esta temporada las casas de moda decidieron optar por un look mucho más clásico y minimalista, y que más clásico y minimalista que el blanco! Así es, el color de la temporada es el blanco y viene súper acompañado del negro. A blanco y negro decidieron pintar las tendencias de esta temporada las casas de moda. Puede llegar a sonar aburrido, para los amantes del color, pero hay que recordar que para eso estan los accesorios! Blanco y negro accesorizado con toques de color suena muy exquisito.
Dejando atrás el blanco y negro, damos paso a otras tendencias que ya se están apoderando de las calles en esta primavera. La combinación inesperada de diferentes estampados, las transparencias de telas como el chiffon, la organza y la seda, el famoso estampado navajo, el volumen en las prendas por medio de las arandelas y retazos de telas sobrepuestas también son protagonistas, aunque difícilmente le quitaran el trono a la paraje más famosa de la temporada, el blanco y negro.
What can be better than writting my first blog post about the season that I like and enjoy the most, spring. Not only because of the weather change, but after so many months of darkness and early sunsets, seeing blooming trees and nature at its best stage, it is impossible not to feel the need to renew and refresh everything around me. It’s just with the arrival of this season when I start to hide in the deepest corner of my closet all the dark colors and heavy garments that warmed me up during the coldest winter days.
Color, color and more color is usually the first thing I think of adding to my closet, but things for this season have taken a different twist. After all the color and embellishment from last season, designers decided to stick to classics and go back to basics. And what can be more basic than black and white. Yes, white is the color of the season and it comes accompanied by black. The perfect combination as the hottest trend for this spring. It can actually sound pretty boring for all the color lovers out there, but remember that’s what accessories are for ! Black and white with pop of color sounds just as exquisit as it gets.
Leaving behind the black and white, let´s talk about other trends that are taking over the streets this spring. The unexpected combination of different prints, the used of featherweight sheer materials like chiffon, organza and silk, the famous Navajo print, and the reclaim of the ruffle plus kimono silhouttes reflect the designers biggest choices for the season. They all sound pretty amazing too, but let´s not lie, it is going to be hard to steal the throne from hottest couple of the season, black and white.
