A couple of week’s ago, Mauricio, and I had lunch at Racca’s Pizzeria Napoletana at Colorado Mills Mall, a mall that’s only 7 miles west of downtown Denver. And I have to say, it has never disappointed me! The large variety of stores, and restaurants has always kept it in my list of my absolute favorites! If you live in Denver or if you ever visit the city, Their list of restaurants is one you need to explore. Between the mall and Denver West Village campus there are combined 33 fantastic dining choices from fast casual to major restaurants. But, for this time, we decided to go to Racca’s, previously called Marco’s Coal-Fired Pizza! They changed the name of the restaurant last year as a result of their desire to further embrace the authentic Italian pizza-making methods they use and demonstrate their passion for Neapolitan pizza.
We LOVED the restaurant! We had a blast! The food was not only amazing, but the service was incredible. From the moment we walked in the restaurant, to the moment we left, they made us feel like home!
The place is beautiful, and it was recently remodeled. As you can see, it’s very spacious, and it has a bar area we loved!
The menu, which you can see here, was great! It has the right amount of food, drinks and dessert options! We definitely ended up eating more that we had planned for, but how can we say no to all that yumminess!!!
Our choices were a caesar salad, the pizza napoletana Lazio, and the lasagna!
A really cool fact about Racca’s is that they are they only pizzeria in Colorado with VPN certification (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) verifying that ingredients, traditional processes and wood-fired oven techniques are approved by the Naples, Italy-based association. How cool is that? 🙂
To finish up, we had Pannacotta, and Cannoli for dessert! We also try the Italian Tiramisu, but we ended up eating eat before taking a picture! lol 🙂 it was incredibly delicious! I truly recommend you to try these options! The expressos we amazing as well!!
They currently have an amazing happy hour! From 3-6pm You can enjoy their pizza for only $5! Yeap! You’ve read it right! And, their Racca’s mules/mojitos for $5 as well, along with selected $2 drafts, and $4 house wine!
We were so happy we went to Racca’s we can’t wait to come back again!
