SHOP THE LOOK
I love LOVE a good mesh top, but I always try to be very careful with the ones I buy, and how I style them. A mesh garment is something that can go from chic to skanky in a heart beat, so it’s very important to make sure we are covered up. Bralettes or lace underwear are great options to wear underneath those piece. Also, if you are showing extra skin on the top, make sure to wear something a little more covered at the bottom. As you can see, I paired the top with a faux leather jacket, and it not only gave the look an edgy touch, but also helped me find that balance to not look like I was dressed for the wrong weather. It was actually pretty warm that day…seriously.. I promise I’m not lying!
Many of of you have been asking me on social media if it’s too warm here in Denver. Well, for those out there living in the freezing temperatures right now, I’m sorry, but the answer is YES! I can’t even believe it. The weather has been wonderful on this side of the planet, and that’s why I was finally able to wear this adorable mesh top. It’s February, and I don’t even remember when was the last time that snowed, and this weekend it’s going to be around 70 degrees, which I’m really not mad about.
So.. With all these temperatures, I’ve been able to rock a lot of new sandals , like these ones via Payless, and light tops.
Now, let’s talk about the look again! Mesh has been pretty trendy for the past couple of seasons, and it will continue to be for the rest of the year! I would love to hear your thoughts, and ideas! how would you also wear this trend, and how are you planning to style your mesh pieces?
