Happy Sunday guys!
I can’t believe it’s the first Sunday of the NFL season! wow! Time has really gone by so fast!
As I told you guys on Instagram some days ago, I’m super excited to be part of the NFL Fan Style Lifestyle Council this year. This is such a fun partnership for me because during the past years football has become such a big part of our lives. I’m from Colombia and I grew up watching soccer my entire life. So, when I moved to the U.S almost thirteen years ago, I didn’t really understand football. It was very confusing for me. But, everything changed after my husband moved from Colombia to Colorado.
Just after two year of working as a sports anchor, he had the amazing opportunity to attend the Super Bowl in 2015 and see the Denver Broncos win. I remember the day he found out he was going! He couldn’t sleep for a week! He was so excited! I mean, it’s the Super Bowl! It’s the biggest sports event of the year and my husband was going! Just two years after moving to the U.S. What a lucky guy. That experience made Mauricio believe that the “American Dream” does exist. He had the time of his live and his pictures are incredible. That experience really marked a before a after especially for me. After that, I was obsessed with football. I love all the fun that it brings when the season starts. I’m not going to lie, I’m still learning and trying to understand many rules, because there are SO many, but I really like it and I’m really looking forward to seeing the Denver Broncos do amazing this season!
To get started with all the content I’ll be creating through out the season, I thought rounding up my favorite Denver Broncos merchandise would be the perfect way to get started.
