Carolina Hellal of Chic Talk wearing an American Eagle black dress, h&m black blazer, Nine West burgundy booties, and Marc Jacobs watch.

Yes, it is, and I don’t thing that will change. I’ve told you guys that when I was younger I used to feel bad for wearing too much black, even when I was attending fashion design school I used to be so concerned because most of the things I designed I always wanted them to be black, my thesis was 80% black, and now that I look back and think about it, I realize that my love for my black has gotten even stronger, and it truly will never change. But let’s think about something? is it a bad thing? NO, it’s really not! Black is often seen as the color of sophistication.Read More

Guys, I’ve officially found the perfect coated jeans. I’ve been dying to find with the right pair, and here they are. You can get them via Madewell, one of my favorite brands! I love mixing textures during winter and fall, and I’m obsessed how they look with knit sweaters. They just add that cool vibe to any casual look, it’s the perfect delicate edgy touch any casual feminine look needs . It was such a good investment, and I’m a 100% sure I will be using it non stop this season! Read More

Tribal prints are so eye catching, even more if they are colorful. This skirt is the perfect bottom for spring, specially it´s fabric because it´s super flowy and soft which make it super versatile.
My obsession with this vest doesn´t seem to calm down any time soon, so this time I paired it with a basic white t-shirt and the skirt. I love the fact that the vest is very long, but not longer than the skirt. So it´s like both pieces are the center of the whole outfit, but each one stands out a lot. Nude accessories where key to neutralize the look, and my beaded bracelets to add a fun touch.
Hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Feliz viernes!!!

As a told you guys at the beginning of this year, 2014 will be a year of resolutions and changes. I´m trying to experiment with new pieces, and trying out new accessories is on the top of the list. So far this black hat has been a great find. And, since it is always key to pick that one thing that will stand out the most in our outfits, today that one thing is this hat!
It was my starting point and it inspired me to pull this laid back and simple outfit together.
This look not only makes me feel super comfortable, but it reminds me of how important basics are. This white shirt is a classic and it will always get you out of a hurry, because no matter what you want to pair with, it will always look great!
To complete the look, I stuck to different shades of gray for the pants, shoes and bag.
Hope you guys like it!
