STRIPED FLIPPY MINI

Hello!!!

Today´s outfit is not very typical of me, but like I said at the beginning of the year, one of my purposes for 2014 is to use skirts more frequently. It has actually been pretty hard to accomplish with the weather since it´s been freezing! plus I´m addicted to jeans and trying to stay away from them is very hard.

Going back to this outfit, I have to say I liked it a lot since I mixed polka dots with stripes, plus I opted for a combination many people tend to avoid, black and navy blue. I really have nothing against this combination of colors, instead I love it and I think it makes the whole outfit look very classic. One recommendation would be staying away from wearing a very dark shade of blue, since the idea is to make the colors stand out from each other.

A couple of days ago, I showed you some pictures with a different flippy mini, I´m very into this type of skirts right now since they are the perfect combination of a mini skirt with a decent touch of bulkiness.

Holaa Hola!!!

Para el look de hoy les traigo una pinta no muy tipica mia, pero como ya les habia contado, tengo como proposito para este año tratar de usar más faldas! Soy una adicta emperdenida a los jeans y creanme que salir de la costumbre me cuesta. Pero bueno, este outfit me termino gustando más de lo que pensaba ya que mezclé puntos y rayas ademas de optar por una combinación a la que muchos no le apuestan, el negro con azul oscuro. La verdad es que a mi me encanta. Eso sí, recomiendo combinar le negro con un azul no necesariamente tan oscuro. Este azul del buso que llevo puesto me parecio que estaba en le punto perfecto ya que se deferecia facílmnte del negro.

Hace unos días les habia mostrado un look de una falda con la silueta muy parecia a esta. Me gusta mucho el volumen que tienen, pues le tengo algo de fobia a las cosas muy pegadas y el hecho de que es suelta abajo me hace sentir muy comoda.
