SHOP THE LOOK
I love a feminine-masculine feel in a an outfit. I love to mix and match pieces that create the perfect balance because I have always felt more confident when I wear outfits that have that “Boy meets girl” vibe going on. Every time I’m going to wear a super feminine blouse or top, I know I need to pair it with jeans or an edgy bottom.
For some reason, I have always stayed away from girly looks from head to toe and instead, I have always preferred to soften up my outfits with subtle touches via accessories, hair or make-up. A good lipstick color can look more feminine than a dress or a skirt sometimes. You also have to remember the way we wear our clothes say a lot about us. Our outfits are what people see, but our confidence reflects in the way we wear them.
This look sums up pretty well what I’m talking about. This Chicwish blouse is so pretty and delicate and it would have looked very different if I would have paired it with skirt or dressier pants. Jeans are always my go-to bottoms when I’m trying to dress my outfits down.
This top incorporates so many of the spring trends right now, the flower applications, the tulle and polka dots. I was so drawn to all those pretty details and since it’s see through I still wore my dainty accessories for that peek-a-boo touch, which I think makes everything even more feminine. The nude pumps added a soft pop of color and the black blazer was the perfect layer to add that menswear inspired vibe I was going for.

Siempre he sido fan de esos looks que tienen la mezcla perfecta de algo femenino y masculino. Me encanta combinar prendas para crear ese balance, por que siempre me he sentido más cómoda cuando hay una vibra andrógina en lo que llevo puesto. Cuando opto por prendas muy femeninas como esta blusa de tull de Chicwish, me gusta combinarlas usualmente con jeans. Especialmente si la ocasion no es elegante. Si me hubiera puesto es blusa con una falda o pantalones vestidores, creamen que el resultado hubiera sido muy diferente. El poder que tienen los jeans para hacer ver casual un outfit es increíble y por eso es que me gustan tanto. Claramente tiene que ser un jeans que horme bien.
Este look es el ejemplo perfecto de lo que les estoy hablando. Como pueden ver, se asemeja mucho al traje masculino, el blazer juega un papel importantisimo ya que fue la capa ideal para lograr ese toque androgino del que tanto les hablo. A la hora de querer lucir femenina, no solo las prendas son importantes. Hay muchas maneras de lograrlo y unas de esas es por medio de los accesorios, la manera en que te arreglas el pelo y el maquillaje. Y esas son usualmente mis opciones favoritas.
Un labial de color vivo puede muchas veces verse más fememino que un vestido o una falda. Todo también va en la manera en que llevemos las prendas. Recuerden que la forma en que nos vestimos es tan solo lo que la gente ve, pero la manera en que las lucimos dice mucho más de nosotros.
La vida es muy corta para no usar lo que nos gusta o nos hace sentir cómodos. Saquenle partido a esas prendas que tanto les encanta y vivan el diá a dia con ropa que estimule su seguridad y personalidad.
