It’s not a lie if I say gingham is the print of the season. It’s pretty much every where and I was trying to find a something I usually don’t wear to show you guys a fun idea to style this print during the summer. What a better way to do it than with crop tops! Right? They are fun, flirty and so perfect for the those really hot summer humid days. Of course I decided to pair it with a high waisted bottom, because crop tops look their best when you just shoe a little bit of skin! Let’s always keep than in mind 🙂 And, these asymmetrical Topshop culottes have been hanging in my closet for a while now and it was the perfect opportunity to finally take them for a walk.Â
They pants are definitely the epitome of versatility. I completely dressed them down with these tassel sandals and straw bag, but you can totally wear them to an elegant occasion by pairing them with metallic high heels and a dressy top. They are so chic and comfortable guys! Totally recommend them!
But Going back to the top, it’s a piece that you can wear in so many different ways, pair it with a white maxi skirt for a fun fresh summer look, with flare dark jeans to go out or a pair of vintage cut offs for to go the pool. I feel like gingham is like the new black. It can definitely be worn as a neutral, try mixing it with other prints, especially tropical ones. Think of prints with fruits! Wouldn’t that be adorable?!
