HOW TO STYLE JEANS AND T-SHIRTS IN THE SUMMER

For some people summer means no jeans, for me, it’s more of that time of the year to think outside the box and try styles I’ve never worn before. I love casual denim looks and I’m always trying to find ways to make  them look different. That’s why I wanted to share this post with you all and spilled my secrets when it comes to that!

As you know I’m all about the details and every time I know I’m going to be wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, I try to elevate the look with my hair, accessories, make-up and one thing you probably don’t think it’s as important but always makes a huge different, a good mani and pedi!

Also, wearing different jeans from the ones I wear all the time is key. That’s why these wide leg jeans via Topshop were a must-try for me! I’m always in the hunt for pieces with good design and these ones were all about that. I mean, can we talk about the front lace-up detail in these jeans?! … Guys, it was love at first sight! These jeans are different, fun and so chic! They make the perfect pair to stay away from the classic silhouettes.

Just because you are wearing the most simple denim look, it doesn’t mean you don’t have to get completely ready! Your hair can take your looks to the next level too! During summer, I usually try to do something different with my hair and I recently cut it shorter! So, thanks to Luis of Vida Salon , my hair is all I dreamed of!

As you can see, I’m super excited to experiment with my new long textured bob! It’s low maintenance, easy to style and it adds that easy cool summer vibe to my looks all season long, plus the delicate highlights in the front give me a feel of that sun kissed look!

Now, let’s talk about that factor we all think might not be as relevant, but it is! A good mani and pedi! They  will never go out of style! Sandals are what we wear the most during this time of the year and a nice nail polish color will always complete the look. I consider nail polish almost an accessory and that’s why I try to keep my nails in good conditions as much as I can .Light colors are usually my go-to for summer, because I’m usually tanned and that helps the colors stand out more.

Spending that money is so worth it and if you are in Denver, make sure to visit Glamour Bar! They are the sweetest people, the place is beautiful and you will love all their services!

The Rebecca Minkoff sandals are almost sold out, but here are some lace-up styles I also love. Statement shoes can definitely make your denim looks a lot more interesting!

Since the whole idea behind this casual denim look is to keep it simple yet chic, I think an amazing way to try to do that is with accessories! I’m the biggest fan of gold dainty pieces but lately, big earrings have been catching my attention. They are not ultra feminine but can also make any outfit look expensive!

Dainty chokers and necklaces are dream and look great when you layer two or three. Doing that will instantly elevate your outfit and add an unexpected elegant touch. Less is more, but when it comes to delicate pieces, more is more! Believe me 🙂

 Jeans are such a timeless pieces and I’m always looking forward to finding ways to elevate outfits with them and of course share them with you to keep you inspired! Karl Lagerfeld said once ” You can be the chicest thing in the world in jeans and a white t-shirt, it’s all up to you” and I totally believe in that!
