CORVUS COFFEE ON S. BROADWAY
Hello guys! Welcome back to Coffee Break. Today we are featuring Corvus Coffee.
Corvus Coffee Roasters has two locations in Denver, one in the DTC and their Flagship espresso bar, located on S. Broadway just south of downtown Denver where I stopped by.
The Corvus Coffee shop has enough space to head over with your laptop and work for an afternoon or even sit on the patio, even though the seating outside will be more uncomfortable and I just recommend to hang out outside if you are just paying them a quick visit on a warm day.
Listen up, because Corvus Coffee told me about a japanese style cold brew that they make in house that blew my mind. It’s called Kyoto and it only takes five hours to brew. The taste comes out more fruity and strong and with more caffeine than the original cold brews that take 24 hours to make.
Some of Corvus Coffee’s cold brews are sold in vintage looking bottles, that I would buy to set on my kitchen counter just for the look, to be honest…
I highly recommend visiting Corvus Coffee Monday through Thursday at their Broadway location to experience how they roast coffee in the back of the shop.
You can also sign up for one of their beginner or advanced classes on espresso and milk techniques, brewing basics or introduction to cupping. How cool is that!

Corvus Coffee Roasters tiene dos tiendas en Denver, una en el DTC y su tienda principal en el Sur de la Broadway, al sur del downtown de la ciudad, a la que yo le hice una visita.
Este café tiene suficiente espacio para trabajar en nuestras computadoras toda una tarde o incluso sentarnos en el patio, aunque ahí los asientos serán mas incómodos y recomiendo pasar un rato afuera cuando estén de paso.
Escuchen bien, porque me comentaron sobre un estilo de café frío japones que elaboran en este sitio que me dejó alucinada. Se trata del café Kyoto que sólo toma cinco horas para hacerse, a diferencia de los cafés tradicionales que tienen que prepararse a lo largo de 24 horas. El sabor es mas fuerte y afrutado y contiene mas cafeína de lo habitual.
Algunas de las bebidas frías las venden en botellas tan lindas que, sinceramente, yo las compraría sólo para ponerlas en mi cocina de decoración…
Les recomiendo que visiten la tienda de Broadway de Lunes a Jueves si quieren experimentar el proceso de cómo hacen el café en persona. También pueden apuntarse a alguna de las clases que imparten sobre técnicas con leche o sobre la utilización de tazas.
