TGIF! Who is as excited as me?! And what a better way to celebrate that the weekend is finally here than with a cocktail!
This one I’m about to share with you is actually one of my favorites! I’m all about citrus flavors and that’s why this grapefruit Moscow mule recipe has been on my radar during the past weeks! It’s extremely easy to do and now that Black Box Wines has dropped a new premium Spirits Portfolio here in Colorado which includes boxed Vodka, Whiskey and Tequila I thought it was the perfect opportunity to give it a try!
Moscow mules are usually made with vodka, lime juice and ginger beer but for this one all I did was add grapefruit juice and mint and the results were incredibly good!
That addition of mint and grapefruit juice totally made it the perfect spring/summer cocktail! It’s actually faster to make than I anticipated. It only took me less than five minutes to get it completely done!
So, to get started this is how much you will need of everything:
2 Oz of fresh grapefruit juice
1 Oz of fresh lime juice
1 1/2 Ounces of vodka
3-4 Torn mint leaves
Ginger Beer
Lime slices, grapefruit slices and mint sprigs for garnish!
Start by getting some crushed ice, put in the cooper mug and then pour the vodka, lime juice, grape juice and torn mint leaves. Stir well and fill the rest of the mug with ginger beer and stir again. To wrap things up add a slice of lime and grapefruit and mint sprigs to make it very eye catching!
Now enjoy! It’s such refreshing and delicious cocktail!
Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure to check out the rest of Black Box Spirit Portfolio ! It offers premium quality for such a great price!
