The start of a new season is the perfect excuse to clean out clutters, open windows and give our indoor spaces a little makeover. I’m all about new beginnings and these type of projects always get me way too excited. With Spring just a few days away, I’ve been wanting to give our bedroom a little makeover. We just renewed our apartment lease and the first thing I told Mauricio as soon as we signed it was that we needed to freshen up our apartment decor!

A few weeks ago, we started incorporating a few gold accents in our bedroom decor. We’ve had silver accessories for the past two years and we totally felt like we needed to switch things up a little.
Once we started adding those gold wall frames and gold lamps, I realized that we needed to go for a white and nude color combination to keep things fresh and bright.
At Gordmans I was able to find the cutest off-white comforter set. It was all I was looking for and didn’t think twice about getting it. After finding it I headed to the pillow section and I found these adorable embroidered pillows with tassels. How cute are they?! They are so eye catching plus they make our bed look so texture rich!
Since we were sticking to a neutral color family, I knew we needed to play with textures to make everything look more interesting. For the night tables I really wanted to find some white vases and luckily I found these adorable ones right in the entrance of the home decor accessory section. It was like they were waiting for me! Next to them I saw these realistic cotton stems and I just loved the idea of putting them together. I adore how delicate yet sophisticated and chic they make our night tables look!
To wrap things up I also got a wicker basket to fold our cozy blankets, the little tassels also add an unexpected boho touch I don’t mind!
We love the result of our bedroom makeover and Sofi does too as you can see! Thanks to Gordmans we found a great variety of accessories to bring our vision to life. We love it so much we’ve been spending more time than usual at our room!
