Decorating our balcony has been on my radar since the day we moved to this apartment. I can’t believe it took me so long to finally make it happen but I’m so happy with the results! It was the perfect opportunity to partner up with Gordmans again and bring you the best they have!

The idea I had in mind for our summer balcony decor was pretty simple, since the space is so small and I knew I wanted to find a set of one mini outdoor table with two chairs. I also wanted to find a few wicker baskets for plants and a few artificial succulents to decorate the table. I went to the store with a very set idea of what I wanted and the minute I started walking through the home decor aisles, I kept finding everything I needed!
I was so happy because I didn’t have to go anywhere else to find all I was looking for. The table and foldable chairs were right there waiting for me, there were endless options for wicker baskets, candles, trays, lanterns and artificial mini plants! If you guys go right now, I promise you, you will find all your summer home decor needs!
They currently carry a large variety of summer outdoor decor. I specially loved how they had multiple sections across the store displaying different decor styles. The pillow section definitely caught my eye, it was packed with so many options and I found the perfect neutral outdoor pillow I wanted. I didn’t go for bright colors or prints because I really wanted the plants and the greens to stand out!
Getting our balcony summer ready was the last thing I needed to do before Mauricio’s family get here for Sofi’s birthday which is in a month! They will be coming from Colombia and the plan is for them to stay with us, so this extra space is just perfect.
I’ve been having breakfast and my morning coffee at the balcony every morning and that moment literally sets my day for success! It puts me in the best mood and I just love how I can relax and enjoy the fresh air right before starting my day. I’m so happy with how it turned out and it all thanks to Gordmans!
