As you can see today’s blog post is all about Sofia’s safety at home! She is crawling everywhere at home and she needs more attention than ever! Every phase with her her has been amazing, but I find this one extremely special because she is discovering the world and understanding everything better. She is exploring every single corner in our apartment and she has also officially started to move things around as well!
Our living room has toys everywhere and I just adore how much she plays and entertains herself with anything she finds! I’m trying to teach her to stay away from our home decor accessories but she is still extremely fascinated with them, so as you can imagine, I need to have my eyes on her 24/7! And as a result of that, my work hours have decreased too and I knew I needed to do something about that!
So, when I found out September is Walmart’s Best of Baby Month I knew it was time for me to find an indoor gate so Sofi can still play and move around safely while I work.
The savings on premium brands Walmart is currently offering came during the perfect time! I couldn’t believe I found the gate I was exactly looking for, a friend of mine has it too and she recommended it to me so much and I didn’t think twice about getting it!
The gate is very safe, it’s portable so we can take it outside and since our apartment is so small I like to put it away at the end of the day and it’s very easy to break down and store. I also love how big it is! I mean, don’t get me wrong, it takes so much room in our living room which is not ideal, but Sofi’s safety is always a priority and I just love that peace of mind it gives me!
Knowing she can move around, play and have fun safely without any fear she is going to hit or hurt herself with something while I work is the best feeling ever!
It took her about two days to get used to it, at first she cried a couple time and I had to get inside of it with her so she could feel more comfortable, but know she is totally fine and likes it a lot!
