Happy Monday! Faux leather is always on my radar and if you ask me, it’s the material of the season. I’m loving how much of this fabric I’m seeing everywhere. I remember last season I would mainly see bottoms but this year, brands really made sure to offer this cool material in every single presentation.
From tops, to dresses, to skirts to trousers and paper bag pants, etc.. faux leather is everywhere and I’m so happy to see how much we have to choose from!
Since fall started I was looking for leather like bottoms, it could be anything, a mini skirt, high waisted pants or shorts, but when I saw this maxi skirt via Topshop in this color, my jaw dropped to the floor.
The color is absolutely stunning and I loved the fact that can be easily dressed up or down. It’s a skirt that you can wear to a casual night out with friends, to a day appointment or even to a wedding. It’s all about how you style it and what you pair it with.
But, today I decided to keep things casual and style it with my current favorite twill jacket via Abercrombie.
How do you guys feel about this look? I personally love how it looks with the suede boots, but if you pair this outfit with sneakers it will also look amazing.
The truth is that the options with this skirt are endless! I mean, just think about how good it can look with a sweater in the same color! It would totally be the perfect monochromatic look!
