Excited to finally share the second part of our spring home decor update! As I told you guys on the first part which you can see here, I was going to split these home decor updates in two just to keep things short and more interesting. Showing you everything at once just seemed too much information.
We’ve been having so much fun moving things around and updating every room in our apartment with new home decor accessories or just simply changing the location of things to freshen up the environment.
I’m planning to give you guys very soon an update on Sofi’s room which has been changing as Sofi grows. We’ve added a few things and moved things around as well! So stay tuned for that!
Hola hola! Estoy feliz de por fin compartirles la segunda parte de la actualización que le dimos a decoración de nuestro apartamento para la primera. En este link pueden ver la primera parte de esta serie de posts sobre decoración.
La tercera parte va a tener los cambios que le hemos dado al cuarto de Sofi. Ya llega casi llega a dos años nuestra chiquitica y el cuarto de ella ha ido cambiando a medida que ella ha ido creciendo. ¡Espero poder pronto subir las fotos aquí al blog! ¡Estén pendientes!
In this blog post I’m sharing a little nook in front of our kitchen where we have our bar cart. After moving adding a few new things and adding some dried pampas grass, I loved how it turned out! It’s incredible how much you can do to a little space by just moving things around. What’s new in the bar cart? That little ewer made of real silver we got during out trip to Dubai two years ago, that pineapple sculpture and gold cheers sign.
Voy a empezar mostrandoles este rinconsito que esta al frente de la cocina en donde tenemos un mini bar. Este carrito plateado fue una muy buena compra, de hecho fue de las primeras compras que hicimos cuando nos pasamos al apartamento y ya ha tenido varias transformaciones. Qué agregamos esta vez? Esta pequeña jarra de plata que compramos durante nuestro viaje a Dubai hace dos años, el letrero de “Cheers” que me encanta y encontré en Homegoods hace unos meses pero aquí les dejo varias opciones similares y las hierbas deshidratas de pampa que poco a poco las he ido incorporando en la decoración de todo el apartamento.
Now let’s talk about our dining area. It pretty much looks the same, the only thing we decided to do this time was to get rid of the tray full of candles we had as a central piece in our table and replace it for this big apricot rose brick botanical candle via Rosy Rings! Ahora hablemos del area en donde tenemos nuestro comedor. La verdad no cambio mucho, de hecho lo que hicimos fue simplificar la decoración y quitar la bandeja que teníamos con varias velas como centro de mesa y la remplazamos por esta hermosa vela de la marca Rosy Rings. Les recomiendo muchísimo el producto de ellos! Las velas tiene unas fragancias increíbles! Gracias a ellas mantenemos nuestro apartamento oliendo espectacular! ¡Mis fragancias favoritas siempre son las de florales y de frutas!
Our dining table is orignally from Scandinavian Designs and the chairs are from Ikea. I was trying to find similar ones on the market and the options below were the closest thing that I found!
This is the area right behind our dining table and I’m constantly moving things here! I don’t think it’s never looked the same more than a week. I love changing those cotton stems for real flowers sometimes, I also try to change the candles and things we have on the top of the console. I’ll make sure to keep sharing with you the future changes on my Instagram stories!
Esta es el area detrás del comedor y esta constantemente cambiando. La verdad no creo para más de una semana con la misma decoración. Me encanta estar remplazando estas ramas de algodón y eucalipto por flores reales así sea dos veces al mes. Las velas, libros y revistas también esta siempre en rotación constante. Prometo estarles mostrando más seguido todos estos cambios en mis historias de Instagram!
