When I was reading about the herbs they use, I was so blown away by all the details because due to how short Icelandic summers are, these wild herbs must absorb sweeping amounts of energy and nutrients in a short period of time so they can survive the harsh, dark winter and that’s the main reason why the Varmi shampoo and conditioner are so good, because of these powerful herbs!
These amazing herbs make their formula gentle and effective and that’s why they deliver results! Of course I had high expectations when I tried them for the first time and I must say, they did not disappoint! After washing my hair, my scalp felt very calm and my hair felt clean and very smooth. I let my hair air dry and styled it without applying any other products to see how it would hold up after curling it and my hair felt amazing! Loved how shiny it looked and how smooth it felt!
One thing I discovered about the conditioner is that, because it’s 99% natural and free of silicones, it doesn’t feel like other conditioners because it doesn’t coat your hair. It actually brings out the natural wave and shine vs weighing your hair down. And – most important – it doesn’t take very much conditioner to work. For my hair, I used just about a quarter’s worth, rubbed it in my hands and then applied it to my hair. It kind of felt like it melted into my hair – like it wasn’t there – but it was and my hair dried soft, shiny and bouncy!
I also have to highlight how amazing they smell, it’s almost therapeutic! The formula smells so fresh and delicious!
