SHOP THE LOOK
I remember thinking velvet was a fabric that we could only use during winter or fall. I used to also consider it super elegant, and dressy. For only night occasions, and parties. But thanks to how fashion is always evolving and changing, velvet has slowly become a fabric we can use all year round.
I’ve been incorporating key pieces to my closet since last year, and I’ve finally found the perfect velvet dress. This one had extra points because the velvet has a crushed texture that makes is even better.
As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to get it, the cut is ultra simple, spaghetti straps always get me, and the neck scarf I ended up wearing as a belt, definitely caught my eye. The color is delicate, and different from anything I’m planning to wear this spring and summer. For a day look, I layered it with a graphic t-shirt because I wanted to create an edgy rocker vibe, but for a night outfit, you can totally wear it just by itself with gold dainty accessories for a an easy feminine look.
