Happy first day of spring! I can’t believe it’s officially here. I’ve been waiting for this day for the past 6 months. And, if you haven’t prepped for the season just yet, no worries! You know I’m always here to help. Today’s post is all about statement tops, which if you don’t know yet, are one of the biggest trends of the year. Think of eye catching details, embroideries, ruffles, applications, and volume. Statement tops are a must have, and I would love to start giving you some ideas on how to wear this trend with my current favorite embroidered top.
I got this one via Chicwish, one of my favorite contemporary clothing brands. Their quality and prices are amazing. I’ve been wearing their product for the past two years, and I don’t have a complaint. Right now they have the cutest tops, and this blue one with stripes screams spring. The embroidery is such a modern take on the classic design of the top, and I specially love how it looks oversized, because if it’s not loose, you know I wouldn’t be interested 🙂
Wear it with skinny jeans or straight leg jeans with raw hems like these ones for a cool casual spring denim look.
